The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll manage incoming enquiries, support an existing customer portfolio and proactively identify new business opportunities. You'll take a consultative approach to sales, advising customers on products and pricing while building long-term relationships and maximising account potential.

• Managing incoming calls and sales enquiries, providing professional and responsive customer support.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
• Developing new business by targeting prospective customers and re‑engaging dormant accounts.
• Providing product and pricing advice, negotiating commercially beneficial terms and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
• Maintaining accurate sales records and preparing reports to support business reviews and sales performance monitoring.
• Monitoring competitor activity, customer performance and market opportunities to support business growth.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Experience in internal sales, sales support, customer service or a similar customer‑facing commercial role.
• Previous experience within the steel industry or a related sector, although this is not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying new business and developing existing accounts.
• Commercial awareness, with the confidence to discuss pricing and negotiate with customers.
