Job description

Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Sales Executive on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Barbour ABI business.

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for cold calling B2B prospects to generate new business opportunities for our Sales Representatives, collaborating with them to secure new business.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Selling annual subscriptions to our construction intelligence database; your main role is making quality appointments for the external field sales team to present our databases to potential clients.
  2. Making high-volume cold calls to prospective customers, selling the benefits of our product and demonstrating its usefulness for their business.
  3. Working towards monthly KPIs and objectives.
  4. Ensuring data is cleansed and accurately logging all calls on the CRM system.
  5. Producing quotes and orders when required, working with the external team to secure orders.
  6. Ensuring GDPR compliance at all times.
  7. Self-sourcing new leads through various channels.
  8. Participating in training and taking responsibility for personal development.
  9. Performing additional tasks as required by the manager and business.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least 12 months experience in a sales environment, phone-based, B2B.
  2. Volume-based prospecting experience.
  3. Experience in achieving sales targets.
  4. Excellent persuasive telephone manner and confident communication skills at all levels.
  5. Target-driven and passionate about achieving goals.
  6. Computer savvy, able to use IT systems for logging calls, booking appointments, producing quotes/orders, and updating spreadsheets.
