Qualifications

• Mindestens 12 Monate Erfahrung im Einzelhandel, idealerweise in der Bodenbelagsbranche.
• Erfahrung im Kundenkontakt per Telefon, E-Mail und persönlich.

What We Need From You As a Sales Assistant/Estimator

• 12 months Retail sales experience is essential - experience in the flooring industry would be ideal, but training can be provided.
• Experienced speaking to customers on the phone, via email, and in person.
• Able to use a computer and do admin work.
• Have the ability to multitask and be organised.
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Have an enthusiastic approach to work.
• Able to work flexible across 6 days of the week.
• Driving licence is essential.

Desirable

• Experience in the carpet and flooring industry.
• Be able to read and plan jobs.
• Estimating experience.

What The Role Involves

• You will be involved in all areas of shop work; admin, customer service, face to face customer sales, answering the phone, completing quotes, house call measures.
• Execute sales in the shop showroom and at the customers property.
• Receiving deliveries and moving them to the correct location in the shop.
• Placing orders and ordering of stock.
• Looking after contracts and meeting all deadlines.
• General tidying of the shop.

Salary

£26,000 - £28,000 per year, (pro-rata for part time) depending on age and experience, plus bonus.

Hours

• Full-time - Monday to Sunday up to 6 days a week working between 8am 5.30pm, up to 40 hours per week. With some flexibility needed as some services are provided out of hours measurements etc.
• Part time would be working 2-3 days per week, to include a Saturday. Hours to be discussed at interview stage.
