Job summary

TipTopJob invites a technically minded sales professional to join a growing engineering business at the forefront of automation and manufacturing technology. You will drive growth across automotive, aerospace, medical, food manufacturing, rail and energy sectors, meeting customers, visiting sites, and delivering tailored technical solutions.

Work closely with engineers to understand processes, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and influence future growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technical Sales, Business Development or Engineering Sales.
• Strong ability to generate and develop new business opportunities.
• Experience managing your own diary, arranging customer meetings and conducting site visits.
• Ability to understand engineering concepts and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Experience preparing quotations, proposals and cost estimates.
• Background within manufacturing, automation, machinery or related sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across automotive, aerospace, medical, food manufacturing, rail, energy and other industrial sectors.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits and technical consultations.
• Understand customer manufacturing processes and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop bespoke technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and cost estimates.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to help shape future business growth.

What Were Looking For
