Sales Director working with a startup building the next generation of hardware for the AI industry.

The product represents the next generation of data center infrastructure, solving the challenge of how to cool the next generation of chips (vera rubin) but also enabling businesses to operate a carbon negative data center - a huge innovation for green tech.

They’ve had great success so far, backed financially by the giants of the industry, they have active partnerships with hyperscalers and existing c-suite relationships across the hyperscale & neocloud data center world globally.

They’ve been founder led sales to this point. Now looking for a Sales Director to come in and scale the sales function. Purely hunting to begin with, you’ll nurture those existing relationships across the industry whilst leveraging your network to bring in new business. The future potential will be to grow out a function as the business grows.

What we're looking for:

• Extensive sales experience building relationships and selling infrastructure solutions into the AI / GPU cloud & HPC data center industries.
• Your product could have been hardware (GPU, Cooling etc.) or software (storage, networking)
• Top performer - you must have a proven track record meeting/exceeding quota
• “Hunter” mentality - we need someone who wants to drive new revenue growth and is proven in doing so
• Startup experience - ideally you’ll have experience working in a startup/scaleup environment

The role is remote, but ideally the candidate will be able to meet the team in London when required. Similarly you must be able to travel to customer sites / industry events when necessary.

Salary is flexible depending on the candidate. I would suggest a guide of c. £150,000 base, double OTE plus equity, but this can be flexible either way.
