The Job
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the UK and Ireland sales teams in a critical leadership role. The successful candidate will drive solution sales strategies and foster growth to exceed ambitious sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. Drive regional account acquisition and retention, identifying new markets and opportunities.
Team Development: Lead and mentor the sales team, managing hiring, performance, training, and development. Develop and implement strategies to achieve key sales targets.
Client Focus: Build executive-level relationships with decision-makers and clients. Engage directly with enterprise clients, providing end-to-end technology solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
Solution Selling: Build strategic partnerships and identify growth opportunities. Represent AVI-SPL in delivering tailored, customer-centric solutions.
Forecasting & Performance Management: Oversee lead management, assist with proposal development, and track/report key metrics such as bookings and forecast accuracy. Coordinate and lead bid and risk assessment activities, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning.
People Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals. Represent the sales team for the UK and Ireland and collaborate with other departments to achieve objectives.
Collaboration and Innovation: Engage with internal and external partners to develop innovative solutions and services. Share best practices, insights, and market observations to elevate organizational performance. Ensure seamless post-sales handover to Customer Account Management and Service Delivery teams.
