The Role

To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are now seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our sales department. As one of the fastest-growing Fintech businesses globally, we are looking for an exceptionally talented and self-motivated individual who has a desire to build a career within the Company.

This is an exciting role where you will engage with a range of different customers about their current agreement or last application at YouLend. Your main task will be building rapport with them, understanding their business, and offering the opportunity to apply for more funding. You will also re-engage with customers who previously made an application for more funding but chose not to proceed.

Responsibilities

  • Contact existing customers and offer them the opportunity to apply for more funding.
  • Re-engage with customers who previously had an application for funding and chose not to proceed at that time.
  • Follow up with customers who had funding in the past but have not renewed or currently have no balance left to pay.
  • Utilize enterprise technology platforms and YouLend proprietary solutions to process applications.
  • Place at least 100 phone calls per day and spend 2-3 hours on the phone with established contacts in our network.
Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Target-oriented: A strong desire to work in sales and achieve targets.
  • Motivation: Experience working towards KPIs and engaging with multiple business owners daily.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Networking Skills: Ability to leverage existing networks and build new relationships with merchants.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with various enterprise technology platforms and proprietary solutions.
Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in Sales: Previous experience in a sales role, particularly in the fintech industry.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Ensuring business owners have all the necessary information to submit their applications.

Salary: £29,000 + up to £7k annual bonus
