Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Sales Coordinator for a Leigh branch of a leading distributor in construction and building products. The role focuses on handling inquiries, processing quotations and orders, tracking deliveries, returns and customer queries.

You will build strong customer relationships, promote current offers and drive sales growth with proactive engagement, working closely with the branch team and technical specialists.

Qualifications

• Previous telephone-based sales or customer service experience.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and remain organised in a busy environment.
• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
• Previous experience within the construction, trade or building products sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries, providing product information and technical guidance where required.
• Prepare quotations, process customer orders and keep customers updated on deliveries.
• Manage returns and resolve product queries efficiently.
• Build relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase spend and promote current offers.
• Re-engage lapsed customers and generate additional business through proactive outbound calls.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the branch by assisting with key administrative tasks.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver an excellent customer experience.
