Job summary

Reed is recruiting a Sales Coordinator for our Leigh-based client, a long-established construction sector business, to support sales operations and strengthen customer relationships. The role involves processing orders, updating customers on deliveries, and driving re-engagement with lapsed accounts in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with internal teams, gain product knowledge, and contribute to delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a telephone-based sales or customer service role.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide customers with updates on deliveries and order progress
• Handle returns and escalte product-related queries as needed
• Re-engage lapsed customers to regain business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer spend and maximise sales
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
