Job summary

SIG Roofing is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our branch network across the UK. You will work with the Branch Manager and team to deliver excellent service and drive branch performance.

You’ll handle customer enquiries, process orders, provide quotes, and promote our full range of products both over the phone and at the trade counter. A proactive, team‑oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service; merchanting or construction experience is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Good IT and numeracy skills with attention to detail in processing orders.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter.
• Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes.
• Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling.
• Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers.
• Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
• Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment.

What’s the role?

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus).

• Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
