Job description

We are expanding our Sales team and are recruiting for an experienced Sales Consultant to join either our team at our Worting Park Development, in Basingstoke or Kings Barton Development, in Winchester. Being part of our Southern region.

Using your negotiating and influencing skills to achieve sales whilst ensuring the effective, efficient and accurate processing of sales and contracts from reservation to exchange and completion via our onsite IT systems. You will have previous experience in luxury branded sales in housebuilding, along with experience of delivering exceptional customer service.

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Meeting customers and guiding them through the specification of the property.
  2. Assisting them through the purchasing and handover process.
  3. Ensuring excellent presentation of the development at all times.
  4. Providing excellent customer service throughout the buying process.
  5. Carrying out market research and collating reports for the sales management team.
  6. Contributing to team discussions with ideas to ensure that all sales targets are met.

Awareness of the industry in general is advantageous as you will be expected to keep your knowledge of key factors up to date.

About You

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential, as are excellent listening skills, adapting your communication style to suit individuals and different media. You will also have experience of Microsoft Office packages and be confident and capable in utilising IT systems, as effective management of the onsite database is key to the role. Previous new homes sales experience is required and a passion, enthusiasm and a demonstrated flair for selling is necessary. Weekend working and flexibility is a requirement, as is a full driving licence with access to a vehicle. If you have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are highly motivated and target-driven as well as meeting our essential criteria, then we would like to hear from you.
