Role overview:

Sales Colleague

Location: Southampton
Store: Currys, Southampton
Type: Permanent, Part Time
Hours: 15-30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours.
Pay: £12.21* per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour (*rising to £12.51 after successful probation).

New colleagues attend a two to three-day induction, either virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, where you'll gain skills in selling, serving, and supporting customers. We provide product training and demos to build your confidence in recommending the right products.

Our Sales Colleagues work flexibly across our opening hours, which typically include weekends. Stores are generally open from 9am to 8pm, seven days a week, with local variations.

Role responsibilities:

• Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Create memorable customer interactions.
• Offer support services such as delivery, installation, recycling, and payment options.
• Contribute to the store's sales performance.
• Work across various departments and product ranges.
• Assist with operational tasks to support store running.
