Huws Gray Limited in Alford is seeking a proactive Sales Person to join our busy branch. You’ll talk to customers, offer expert advice, prepare quotes and help customers choose the right building materials to complete their project.

You’ll build lasting relationships, work with colleagues across yard and counter sales, and develop product knowledge through on-the-job training and supported progression opportunities within the Huws Gray group.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Sales experience or knowledge of building materials is a bonus.
• Full training and support to grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Building connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in-branch or yard, offering expert advice.
• Creating tailored solutions by preparing quotes, following up on enquiries, and developing leads.
• Keeping essential admin running smoothly and efficiently.
• Offering guidance with up-to-date product knowledge to help customers choose the best materials.
• Enhancing the shopping experience by maintaining well-stocked, inviting displays.
• Collaborating across the branch with yard and counter sales to support the team.
