Job summary

Wenzel’s The Bakers in Windsor is seeking a part-time Team Member/Sales Assistant to deliver friendly service and help run the shop floor. You will take orders, handle till operations, assemble fresh sandwiches and food items, and support daily shop tasks.

The role offers 20 hours per week with flexible shifts and training provided. Benefits include a competitive hourly rate of £12.21 (under 18 £10.00; 18-21 £11.75), 28 days holiday including bank holidays, pension enrolment, and staff wellbeing

Qualifications

• No previous training is necessary; full training provided.

Pay & Hours:

For our Team Member/ Sales Assistant roles we offer a competitive pay of £12.21 an hour (under 18 - £10.00 an hour, between 18-21 £11.75 per hour) to start, and a working week is 20 hours, Monday to Sunday.

Although our shops open early, and we do have set shifts within our Shops, we are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs where we can.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service – handling all our customer’s needs, including taking their order, cash handling and the till operation
• Producing fresh sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our food safety / health and safety standards (food safety and hygiene training is provided)
• Assisting with the day to day running of the shop

What Are We Looking For?

• No previous training is necessary as full training is provided
• Someone who is confident and enthusiastic, with a great work ethic and a positive attitude showing great customer service skills
• Someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently as part of a team
