Job summary

Wenzel’s The Bakers in Borehamwood is seeking a part-time Team Member/Sales Assistant to provide friendly customer service, handle orders and help with everyday shop operations. The role includes preparing fresh sandwiches and food items while adhering to safety standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team. We offer a competitive hourly rate (£12.21) with a 20-hour working week, flexible hours where possible, and a strong benefits package including free meals

Qualifications

• No previous training is necessary as full training is provided.
• Confident and enthusiastic with a great work ethic and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Customer service – handling all customer needs, including taking orders, cash handling and till operation.
• Producing fresh sandwiches, baguettes and other foods in line with food safety standards (training provided).

Pay & Hours:

For our Team Member/ Sales Assistant roles we offer a competitive pay of £12.21 an hour (under 18 - £10.00 an hour, between 18-21 £11.75 per hour) to start, and a working week is 20 hours, Monday to Sunday.

Although our shops open early, and we do have set shifts within our Shops, we are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs where we can.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing fresh sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our food safety / health and safety standards (food safety and hygiene training is provided)


• Assisting with the day to day running of the shop
