Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant with Key Holder responsibilities to join the team in our High Wycombe store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.61 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. In return, you will have opportunities to grow and develop within your retail career.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a busy shop floor, and remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Open & close the store as required.
  2. Manage store keys responsibly.
  3. Approach customers and provide helpful, knowledgeable assistance on products.
  4. Serve customers at the till and process transactions.
  5. Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
  6. Work with your team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  7. Replenish stock regularly to keep shelves full.
  8. Process stock deliveries promptly.
  9. Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor.
  10. Perform any additional duties as required.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Positive, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to serve all customers.
  • Motivated to exceed performance targets.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented in daily tasks, including stock management.

Salary:

Up to £12.61 per hour plus non-contractual sales commission.
