Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Cowley store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £11.84 per hour + non-contractual hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. In return for your hard work, you will be offered fantastic opportunities for growth and development within your retail career.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates are those with energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina to work on a busy shop floor, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for:

  • Opening & closing the store as required
  • Being responsible for store keys
  • Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable product information
  • Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions
  • Recommending and promoting complementary products
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are full
  • Processing stock deliveries timely
  • Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
  • Performing additional ad hoc duties as needed
