Job summary

PPG’s Maidstone Depot is recruiting a Sales Assistant / Driver for a permanent position. You will support customers at the trade counter and on the phone, assist with colour matching, and handle occasional deliveries. Full UK driving licence required and on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of IT systems desirable.
• Full UK manual driving licence required (driving points max 3).

Responsibilities

• Serve customers over the phone and at the trade counter in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist in the paint mixing area and use colour tools to identify and match colours.
• Occasionally pick orders or replenish stock via the warehouse management system.
• Occasional driving for customer site visits or deliveries may be required.
