Job summary

PPG, Maidstone Depot, is seeking a Sales Assistant with Driving to join our Refinish Distribution team. You will serve customers at the trade counter and over the phone, assist with colour matching, and support stock replenishment, with occasional driving for deliveries.

This permanent role offers a 40-hour week, with no weekend shifts, 33 days of annual leave including bank holidays, and a strong benefits package including a company pension and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence essential (Maximum 3 points).
• Previous experience in a customer facing environment is desirable.
• Good communications skills with a positive customer focussed attitude.
• Good understanding of IT systems is preferred.
• Structured in approach to tasks and ability to meet customer ETA's.
• Passion for delivering high quality customer service and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for a Sales Assistant / Driver within our Refinish Distribution division. We're looking for a customer focused individual to become a key member of our friendly and supportive team. Previous experience in a customer facing environment and a good understanding of IT systems is desirable, but not essential, as we will support you all along the way with in-store training. A full UK manual driving license is needed for this role.

A day in the life of...

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week between 7.00-18.00
• Monday - Friday (No weekends)
• 25 days Holiday (3 days allocated for Christmas) + Bank Holidays
