Job summary

Deichmann in Grimsby is hiring a Sales Assistant on a 4-hour, part-time contract. You will greet customers, upsell products, handle till transactions, and ensure shelves are well stocked.

A midweek availability is required, with the chance to grow within a dynamic retail team at our Freshney Place location. We offer a competitive hourly rate up to £12.91 per hour plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product information.
• Process sales transactions at the till.
• Suggest and promote complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with the team to hit store targets and KPIs.
• Restock shelves and manage stock deliveries promptly.
• Keep the shop floor clean and tidy to high standards.
• Support additional ad hoc duties as required.
• Work 4 hours per week with midweek availability.

Purpose :

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Grimsby store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a Part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 4 hours per week.

Key activities :

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
