Deichmann is hiring a Sales Assistant in Gloucester to join a fast-paced retail team. The role is part-time with a 4-hour weekly contract, offering an hourly rate up to £12.91 plus non-contractual sales commissions. You will deliver excellent customer service, work well in a team, and help drive store KPIs.

Ideal candidates bring energy, positive attitude and the capacity to handle busy shop floor periods while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and accuracy in stock and till operations.

Responsabilités

• Approach customers and provide helpful information on products.
• Serve customers at the till and process sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Replenish stock to keep shelves full and process deliveries promptly.
• Keep the shop floor clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.

Key activities

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
