Job summary

Deichmann Wakefield store is seeking a Sales Assistant on a 4-hour contract with immediate start. You will deliver an exceptional shopping experience and support a fast-paced team on the shop floor.

Hourly rate up to £12.91 plus non-contractual commission; 4 hours per week, part-time and permanent. Flexibility to work any day Mon-Sun is required.

Purpose :

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Wakefield store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 4 hours per week.

Key activities :

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
