Job summary

Deichmann SE in Walsall is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant for a 4-hour-per-week rota at our Park Street store. Start date is immediate, with an up to £12.91 hourly rate plus possible non-contractual commission.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment and supporting store targets. The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-focused and capable of working well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers and provide helpful, product knowledge.
• Serve customers at the till and process sales transactions.

• Collaborate with the team to reach store targets and KPIs.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and stock deliveries are processed promptly.
• Keep the shop floor clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Purpose : Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Walsall store.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.

Key activities :

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
