Job summary

IKEA Warrington is looking for Sales Assistants to join our team in Warrington. You’ll help customers create better lives at home with smart, stylish solutions, advise on product choices, and keep the showroom and market hall looking inviting as part of a fast-paced team.

The role starts on 3 November 2026 with an hourly rate of £13.45. Flexible 12 or 16 hours per week across up to 4 days and 3 weekends. We offer discounts and co-worker benefits to support your everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational shopping experiences by identifying customer needs and advising on solutions.

• Maximise sales by keeping areas clean, stocked, priced and well presented.
• Support customers through 30–40 minute personalised planning appointments using IKEA tools.
• Handle heavy products safely and use ladders/pump trucks when necessary.

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
• You support maximising sales by ensuring the areas are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.
• Planning - Supporting customers through 30-40 minute personalised planning appointments using IKEA digital planning tools to create functional, well-designed home solutions.
• Manual handling heavy products safely, using ladders and pump trucks.
