Job summary

Smiggle Reading is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our store team. Help maximise store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, while having fun with the products.

You will support weekend rosters, maintain product knowledge, handle deliveries, and keep stock and VM standards to deliver the Smiggle brand experience. Join a brand that values energy, teamwork and great customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be a passionate customer advocate committed to delivering smiles and giggles.
• Able to multitask and drive store KPIs and targets.
• Energetic, proactive and ready to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to maximise sales and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate features and benefits.
• Process deliveries and keep stock levels topped up on the floor.
• Support store presentation and Visual Merchandising (VM) standards.

Join us at our Reading Smiggle Store as a Sales Assistant!

As a Sales Assistant you will become part of the Smiggle team to help maximise store performance whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences, boost sales in a fast-paced, hands-on environment; all while playing with the products – approaching every day with an attitude of fun!

• Have strong, consistent communication with the team to work collaboratively with all team members
• Show reliability and flexibility with rostered shifts to ensure the store is supported, including weekends and support other stores where needed
• Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve brand KPIs, store ad individual sales targets
• Create a genuine and unique experience with every customer
• Maintain product knowledge and confidently communicate product features and benefits to customers
• Process new incoming deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain appropriate stock levels on the floor to drive sales
• Maintain the VM standards to deliver the brand experience
• Maintain store presentation and housekeeping standards
