A leading company in waste management is seeking a Sales Assistant for their Kings Road Reuse & Recycling Centre Shop. The role involves delivering high-quality retail service, managing sales of donated goods, and maintaining shop operations. LondonEnergy operates the second largest waste contract in the UK, handling and processing nearly 750,000 tonnes of London's waste every year. We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.
By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.
We are currently looking for a Sales Assistant to join the team at our Kings Road Reuse & Recycling Centre Shop.
In this role, you will support the delivery of a reliable and high-quality retail service, helping to manage the sale of donated goods both in-store and online. Working alongside one other Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the shop's presentation and day-to-day operations, both collaboratively and independently.
This position would suit someone who is organised, dependable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
The shop is open Monday - Saturday, and you need to be able to work Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday each week; the additional 2 days can be flexible.
