Job summary

The Yorkshire Trading Company in Hexham is hiring four sales assistants to join the store team. The roles cover 16 hours across 4 days, including weekends on a rota, and may involve some early mornings. The aim is to deliver high-class customer service and drive growth and revenue through effective selling.

We offer 5.6 weeks of annual leave pro rata, a workplace pension, and a 12.5% staff discount after a six-week induction. Training on the Epos till system is provided to new recruits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

We now have an opportunity for an additional 4 recruits to the sales assistant team in our store at Hexham. The positions offered are: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings.
