Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company in Buxton is hiring a Sales Assistant for 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings. This family-owned retailer operates 42 stores, an E-commerce arm, and outdoor events teams across the region.

As a Sales Assistant you will greet customers, help them find products, and process sales using the EPOS till (training provided). You’ll also assist with deliveries and stock and keep product information up to date.

Qualifications

• High level customer service experience
• Ability to upsell and close sales
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards
• Accurate cash handling and till operations
• Keeping product knowledge up to date
• Receiving deliveries and stock checks

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at Buxton.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation
