Job summary

schuh in Lakeside is hiring Temporary Sales Assistants to deliver top-tier customer service and expert product knowledge. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and help maintain merchandising on the shop floor while meeting performance targets.

The role includes handling payments, processing orders, and supporting stock control. Flexibility is essential to cover weekday evenings, weekends, and peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas.

• Willingness to contribute to shop floor merchandising and stock handling.

We have an exciting opportunity for Temporary Sales Assistants to join our store in Lakeside.

Candidates must have flexibility both weekday evenings and weekends and availability over Black Friday and Christmas.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge


• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets


• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations


• Stock management and shop floor merchandising


• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas


• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
