Ryman is seeking a Sales Assistant to be a friendly, knowledgeable face in the store, helping customers find exactly what they need and delivering a brilliant shopping experience.

You will support the Store Management Team to drive sales, handle queries, upsell, maintain stock and visual merchandising, and follow health and safety policies while building product knowledge.

Job description

As a Sales Assistant at Ryman, you’ll be at the heart of the store, helping customers find exactly what they need while creating a brilliant shopping experience every time.

You’ll be a friendly and knowledgeable face of Ryman, supporting the Store Management Team to drive sales, deliver great service and keep the store looking its best. From helping customers choose the right products to spotting opportunities to upsell, you’ll play an important role in making every visit a positive one.

What you’ll be doing

• Be a proud ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group, building your knowledge and sharing it with customers.
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service and go the extra mile to exceed expectations.

• Work towards and exceed sales targets, KPIs and objectives.
• Get to know our customers, understand what they need and recommend the right products, promotions and additional items.
• Operate the till efficiently while following customer care and loss prevention procedures.
• Keep stock replenished and help maintain accurate stock systems.
• Help create an inviting store by maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and housekeeping.
• Build your product knowledge and keep developing your skills.
• Follow all relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures.
