Job summary

Travis Perkins in Fareham is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver a high level of customer service, manage sales interactions, and support yard operations. You will engage with customers in-branch and on calls, promote products, and help ensure smooth order processing and deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and willingness to learn about building materials while supporting colleagues across the branch.

• Confident in physical ability to handle heavy stock in Yard/Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers in person and by phone.
• Promote additional products from a wide range of materials and tools.
• Maintain safety standards across the working environment.
• Assist with yard duties, including loading/unloading and coordinating deliveries.

• You don’t need to be an expert in building materials and tooling, we’ll support you to learn this on the job!
