Job summary

CLARK'S in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on team performance, customer service, and store efficiency.

You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards, guiding staff, and ensuring a positive shopper experience while achieving KPI targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles.
• Proven track record driving KPIs and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Willing to work 7-day shift pattern incl. weekends.
• Familiar with POS systems and inventory management.
• Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace.

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
