Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role blends leadership, customer service and operational management to keep the store running smoothly and meet performance goals.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong interpersonal skills, capable of driving KPI results, managing inventory, and guiding a busy team across a 7-day shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles.
• Ability to drive KPI performance and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern including weekends.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.

• Strong communication and Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
