Job summary

Cummins is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Support Specialist Placement Student to join our Sales team in the Power Systems Business Segment in UK, Sandwich. During your placement you will learn how a major global organization operates and gain tools to become an expert in the industry.

This role starts in Summer 2027 and focuses on preparing sales analyses, providing sales support through the cycle, and delivering reports that drive customer value.

Qualifications

• A level in Maths, Finance or Marketing and studying for a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or Finance.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with sales reporting and forecasting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales analyses and reports for key stakeholders in the sales function.
• Provide sales support for Cummins products and services throughout the sales cycle.
• Gather reporting requirements and analyze data to provide recurring reports.
• Maintain accurate sales entry, reporting and forecasting using Cummins tools.
• Update customer data in the corporate database and seek opportunities to grow business.
• Collaborate with Senior Analysts and BI Leader to understand end-user needs.
• Ensure communication and coordination across Sales and other departments.
