Cummins is seeking a placement year Business Applications Analyst to join the Power Systems IT team in Daventry, UK. You will gain exposure to a global organization, working onsite four days per week with relocation/travel as needed for the placement starting Summer 2027.

Responsibilities include IT support for Oracle ERP, developing Power Platform solutions, creating SQL queries, and leading small to mid-sized improvement projects.

• Review test plans to ensure functional/non-functional requirements are met.
• Leverage AI tools for productivity and automation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Applications Analyst placement student to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2027 The requirements are to be onsite for 4 days per week so you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location on your own behalf.

External Qualifications and Competencies

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Providing IT Support for Oracle ERP business application (End to End Business Application).
• Supporting, designing, and building Power Platform solutions (Power BI, SharePoint, PowerApps, Flows, Automate).
• Developing Oracle SQL queries to meet business needs.
• Leading small/medium improvement projects (project management).
• Conducting problem and data analysis as needed. Escalates complex issues for additional analysis and resolution as appropriate. Develops positive relationships with both the business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes.
• Reviewing test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization.
• Leveraging AI tools for personal productivity and automations.
