Stafffinders in Glasgow is seeking a Sales Advisor to turn travel enquiries into tailor-made UK and Ireland holidays. This permanent role offers a salary range of £27,000 to £30,000, with the possibility of hybrid working for the right candidate.

You will work closely with local partners to craft detailed itineraries and deliver outstanding customer service. The role suits someone with travel sales experience and a passion for UK and Ireland destinations, in a growing, employee-owned business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' travel sales experience with a strong focus on customer service.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy, detail oriented and accurate.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team and learn quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; high computer literacy.

• Respond to enquiries and convert them into tailor-made UK/Ireland holidays.

Responsibilities in your new role as Sales Advisor

As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for expertly responding to enquiries and skillfully converting them into tailor-made holidays. You will excel at listening to and understanding each customer's unique needs, then meticulously organising every detail, from accommodation and activities to travel arrangements, to create a truly unique holiday experience. This involves working in close partnership with local businesses who share our unwavering commitment to quality and outstanding customer service.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are seeking an individual with at least two years of proven travel sales experience, underpinned by a strong dedication to customer service excellence. You will also bring:

• Excellent attention to detail with strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• The ability to learn quickly with a proactive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland
• Knowledge of England, Wales and Ireland is advantageous
• Genuine passion for UK and Ireland travel and tourism
• Enthusiasm for promoting unique and off-the-beaten-track destinations
• Excited to contribute ideas and grow within an employee-owned business
