Job summary

Stafffinders' Client in Glasgow is seeking a Sales Advisor to respond to enquiries and craft tailor-made holidays across the UK and Ireland. The role offers a competitive £27,000–£30,000 salary with potential hybrid working over time, and a unique opportunity to become a co-owner in an employee-owned business.

After 9 months, a KPI-related bonus may be paid tax-free, subject to performance. Familiarisation trips accompany your itineraries.

Qualifications

• At least two years of proven travel sales experience.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• High computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland; knowledge of England, Wales and Ireland is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries and convert them into tailor-made holidays.
• Meticulously organise accommodation, activities and travel arrangements for each itinerary.
• Collaborate with local businesses to ensure high-quality customer service and seamless experiences.

Responsibilities in your new role as Sales Advisor

As a Sales Advisor, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for expertly responding to enquiries and skillfully converting them into tailor-made holidays. You will excel at listening to and understanding each customer's unique needs, then meticulously organising every detail, from accommodation and activities to travel arrangements, to create a truly unique holiday experience. This involves working in close partnership with local businesses who share our unwavering commitment to quality and outstanding customer service.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are seeking an individual with at least two years of proven travel sales experience, underpinned by a strong dedication to customer service excellence. You will also bring:

• Excellent attention to detail with strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• The ability to learn quickly with a proactive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland
