Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor in a part-time role in Cambridgeshire. You will be the first point of contact, helping customers choose optical and hearing products and ensuring a welcoming store experience.

You will greet customers, provide expert product advice, process bookings, and support stock and merchandising. Training and staff discounts are offered within a friendly, family-run environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
• Basic IT skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism.

About the role

At Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, we put people at the heart of everything we do. As a Sales Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers—helping them feel welcome, understood, and supported as they choose products and services that improve their lives. Whether it's helping someone find their perfect pair of glasses or explaining how hearing care can boost confidence, you'll deliver friendly, expert service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a part-time role working Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products
