Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor for an 8-hour part-time contract in our Devon store. You will join a vibrant retail team, delivering excellent customer service and helping customers connect with Saltrock’s coastal lifestyle products.

You will contribute to sales targets, maintain store standards, and assist with deliveries and merchandising as needed. Prior retail experience is helpful but not essential, with a friendly, welcoming attitude a must.

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
• Competent at till operations and cash/card handling.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the Saltrock brand while processing sales transactions.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Keep housekeeping to a high standard to ensure a healthy, safe store.
• Provide information about product features and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines and assist with deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care


• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.


• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store


• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability


• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales


• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed


• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines


• Process deliveries
