Job description

Hours: 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri - office based (can be flexible on hours for the right person, including school hours 5 days per week)

Benefits: 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years, free parking, pension.

Aspire Jobs is working with our telecoms and IT solutions client, who is now looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their growing team. They are a well-established company offering full training for the suitable candidate.

This Sales Administrator role is suitable for someone who is tech-savvy and interested in technology, telecoms, or IT. You should be willing to learn, possess strong customer service skills, and have exceptional attention to detail, common sense, sales administration, and time management skills. IT computer literacy and a good telephone manner are essential, and training will be provided.

You will handle day-to-day enquiries and some basic account management, supporting a small, busy team. Your responsibilities include dealing with and allocating enquiries.

To be successful in the Sales Administrator role, you will have:

Job Description

Responsibilities of a Sales Administrator:

  • Handle customer queries via email and phone
  • Coordinate responses to customers through email, phone, or ticketing system
  • Raise tickets for technical support queries
  • Provide updates, follow-ups, and responses to customers
  • Produce quotes and assist in building solution proposals with the sales team
  • Process customer orders through the management system
  • Coordinate with technical and operational departments to inform responses and manage orders and projects to completion
  • Maintain and update customer records, pricing, and sales collateral
  • Participate in sales/marketing meetings, contributing ideas and updates
  • Develop monthly sales reports and track sales performance
  • Communicate customer feedback internally
  • Enhance product and service knowledge to better handle queries and quotes
  • Liaise with suppliers and monitor product and supplier developments
