Job Details
- Job Title: Sales Administrator
- Function: Sales and Proposals
- Reporting to: Sales Director / Technical Sales Director
- Scope: Clarke Energy Ltd
- Location: Knowsley, with occasional UK travel required.
- Job Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Sales, Proposals, Marketing, Legal and Commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the sales, proposals, marketing, legal and commercial teams.
- Organise travel and accommodation for the teams, including event coordination, and support other departments as needed.
- Manage and update the Salesforce system.
- Monitor and report on KYC / Compliance information with the Accounts department.
- Arrange and participate in departmental meetings, including taking minutes and managing follow-up actions.
- Produce and update documents for meetings.
- Prepare responses for Pre-qualification Questionnaires.
- Register CEL on client procurement software and monitor online tenders.
- Assist sales team with post-quotation follow-up calls.
- Record and archive tender documentation properly.
- Monitor stationary supplies and handle ordering.
- Maintain filing and archiving systems.
- Update electronic sales files regularly.
- Participate in internal audits.
- Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
- Assist with department expenses and visa applications as needed.
- Support attendance at conferences and exhibitions.
- Cover for the Personal Assistant to the President when necessary.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings to optimize space usage.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, Salesforce, MS Project.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a demanding administrative role in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum A-level education or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a commercial engineering or industrial environment.
