Job Description

Role: Sales Administrator

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 + Commission, OTE £32-£35k

Location: Liverpool

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed, customer-focused, and experienced Sales Administrator to join our Commercial team in Merseyside. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will support the Area Hire Manager in achieving KPIs and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

You should be highly organized, driven, confident, and reliable. Experience in business development, customer service, and sales (office-based) is essential. You will work in a supportive environment with positive colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing orders, credit checks, contracts, and quotation packs with attention to detail.
  • Managing diaries and updating the Area Hire Manager.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and handling requests promptly.
  • Carrying out structured business development, including cold calling to develop relationships and generate sales opportunities.
  • Using internal systems (SAP, CRM) to maintain customer data.
  • Liaising with the Service Manager regarding refurbishment, deliveries, and other operational needs.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and able to work efficiently at pace.
  • Strong customer relationship skills over the phone.
  • Proven experience in business development and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and proactive listening skills.
  • Literacy and numeracy competency.
  • Full UK Driving Licence for occasional travel.
