Vehicle Administrator Role at Exeter Motor Garage

We are seeking a Vehicle Administrator for our Exeter-based Motor Garage. The ideal candidate may have previous experience as an Administrator, Sales Administrator, or Service Administrator within the Automotive industry.

Job Details:

  • Salary: £23,000 – £25,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Role Overview:

We are looking for an extremely organized individual with a keen eye for detail. You should be highly efficient, hardworking, and experienced with computer programs including Excel. Good grammar and typing skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent support and administrative service to the Sales Department
  2. Ensure efficient processing of new, used, and fleet vehicle orders
  3. Develop effective contacts with manufacturers and suppliers
  4. Handle customer requests and queries to ensure total customer satisfaction
  5. Assist retailers in achieving industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer literacy is essential
  • At least 1 year of previous experience as a Vehicle Administrator is required
  • Experience within a main dealership in the Motor Trade is necessary
  • Proven record of accurate and timely processing of vehicle orders is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well organized, efficient, with attention to detail
  • Flexibility during busy periods is advantageous
