The Role

To undertake general day-to-day administrative duties and support the sales team and Workshop to ensure department objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with customer and supplier enquiries via phone and email, liaising with the Workshop Department to expedite customer requirements.
  2. Utilise business systems like EMIR for accurate data entry related to enquiries, orders, and notes.
  3. Progress chase customer enquiries, quotes, and orders, liaising with departments and suppliers for clarification and communicating updates.
  4. Assist with order completion processes to ensure readiness for invoicing.
  5. Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  6. Follow company policies and procedures.
  7. Perform other tasks to support business development.
  8. Maintain EMIR data, including job details and timelines.
  9. Handle purchasing of workshop parts and sourcing bespoke items.
  10. Ensure timely chasing of quotes and keep customers updated on timelines and overdue jobs.
  11. Assist with typing and issuing quotes, including pricing, on behalf of the Workshop Manager.
  12. Manage customer calls and ensure all job files and paperwork are correctly maintained.
  13. Report to the Office Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with in-house systems.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Professional communication with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
