Sales Administrator
- Location: Camberley (Office-based)
- Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
We are recruiting for an organised and proactive Sales Administrator / Sales Coordinator to join a successful and growing FMCG business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both customers and internal sales teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated efficiently, and customers receive an outstanding level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s ERP system.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team and wider business.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
- Coordinate with warehouses, couriers, freight forwarders and other logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track customer orders, providing updates where required.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Process credit requests, returns and associated documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
- Assist with general office administration and support where required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Customer Service or Order Processing role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems (such as Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) would be advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- A proactive and positive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
