Steam & Moorland Garden Centre in Pickering is seeking a proactive Horticultural Machinery Centre Sales and Admin Assistant to support the Manager and team. This role blends customer service with administration in a busy retail environment.

You will need to be confident with people, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating computer systems. Full training will be provided on products and systems used in the shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and administration.
• Able to navigate computer systems; good MS Word and Excel knowledge.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented and adaptable.
• Willing to learn with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them to the right person.
• Book in service and repair jobs; create invoices for completed work.
• Register goods on our Retail system.
• Help ensure the shop is fully stocked, clean and tidy.
