Job summary

TRS Consulting seeks a Sales Account Manager for Medical Imaging Systems in the Manchester area. You will autonomously manage a territory, balance account management with new business, and drive imaging solutions into hospitals and clinics.

The role offers a base salary in the £70k–£80k range with on-target commissions of £40k; first-year commission is guaranteed. A company car and comprehensive healthcare are included, with strong progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• A mixture of account management and new business, selling imaging solutions for the medical and healthcare sectors
• Up-selling and identifying new business opportunities, aiming to exceed area sales and gross profit targets
• Extending the customer base by participating in exhibitions and local events
• Assisting in training team members, analysing competitor activity, organising territory product presentations and producing proposals and sales agreements.

The Role - Sales Account Manager, Medical Imaging Systems

Following continued growth this market-leading organisation now seeks to recruit a customer focused Sales Account Manager. This is an autonomous role where you will control your own marketing strategies and sales decisions, essentially running your own territory franchise. You will be responsible for:

• A mixture of account management and new business, selling imaging solutions for the medical and healthcare sectors
• Up-selling and identifying new business opportunities, ultimately looking to exceed area sales and gross profit targets
• Extending the customer base by participating in relevant exhibitions and local events
• Assisting in training team members, analysing competitor activity, organising territory product presentations and taking responsibility for producing proposals and sales agreements.

Your Background - Sales Account Manager, Medical Imaging Systems

• Experience selling nuclear medicine, MRI, CT or medical imaging systems
• Experience of large imaging sales cycles
• Ability and drive to self-generate a robust pipeline in order to acheive sales quotas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
• Strong work ethic and resourceful, self-directed approach
