Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to work on our Cheshire Life Magazine portfolio. Cheshire Life is a vibrant, lifestyle magazine offering luxury brands excellent advertising opportunities. You will be responsible for expanding our subscriber base through new business acquisition, selling print and digital advertising solutions to clients in the Cheshire region. Building strong relationships with customers via phone and face-to-face meetings is essential, as is understanding their needs and presenting suitable options.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
You will mainly sell our print advertising solutions, complemented by digital services such as web advertising and video creation. Digital savvy is important, but comprehensive training will be provided on SEO, social media, DPM, display, and programmatic advertising. The role is hybrid, working from home with a laptop and phone provided. You must live within 30 minutes of Cheshire and have your own car for client meetings. You will be supported by an experienced manager through calls, training, and team meetings.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Media/advertising sales experience (preferred)
- Proven B2B sales background
- Drive and passion for building repeat customers
- Consultative sales approach
- Strong organisational and diary management skills
- Experience in developing new business opportunities
- Determination to meet and exceed targets
