Central Employment is looking to recruit a results-driven Sales Account Manager to join an industry-leading distribution organisation based in Teesside.
Sales Account Manager job profile:
As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities using telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email approaches
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion
- Utilise various platforms and tools to uncover potential clients
- Engage in meaningful conversations with decision-makers to assess their needs, offer solutions and pricing, and convert to customers
- Build and manage your client base by providing ongoing support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling
- Maximise margins through effective pricing and negotiation, ensuring both competitive offerings and profitability
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular check-ins and reviews
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system
- Provide feedback and insights to the management team for continuous improvement of sales and pricing strategies
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven ability to identify, prospect, and convert new business in a competitive marketplace
- Strong experience with telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email-based communication
- Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline, ensuring lead generation, conversion, and account growth
- Competence in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, building long-lasting relationships by providing support, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Proactive approach to addressing potential problems before they escalate
- Proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment
- Skilled in managing a sales pipeline and driving lead generation, conversion, and account growth
- Ability to engage effectively with decision-makers at all levels and close sales with strong negotiation tactics to balance competitiveness with profitability
