Central Employment is looking to recruit a results-driven Sales Account Manager to join an industry-leading distribution organisation based in Teesside.

Sales Account Manager job profile:

As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect new business opportunities using telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email approaches
  2. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion
  3. Utilise various platforms and tools to uncover potential clients
  4. Engage in meaningful conversations with decision-makers to assess their needs, offer solutions and pricing, and convert to customers
  5. Build and manage your client base by providing ongoing support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling
  6. Maximise margins through effective pricing and negotiation, ensuring both competitive offerings and profitability
  7. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular check-ins and reviews
  8. Keep accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system
  9. Provide feedback and insights to the management team for continuous improvement of sales and pricing strategies

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven ability to identify, prospect, and convert new business in a competitive marketplace
  • Strong experience with telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email-based communication
  • Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline, ensuring lead generation, conversion, and account growth
  • Competence in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, building long-lasting relationships by providing support, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proactive approach to addressing potential problems before they escalate
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in managing a sales pipeline and driving lead generation, conversion, and account growth
