Job summary

Amersham Health Centre is recruiting a salaried GP with a route to partnership into its established clinical team. The post runs six sessions a week, ideally on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with some flexibility open to discussion, and suits a GP seeking a long-term role.

Fit rests on GMC registration, MRCGP or equivalent and a place on the NHS England Medical Performers List. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities for professional development and

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with MRCGP or equivalent recognised qualification
• Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development

Responsibilities

• Undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Managing acute and chronic medical conditions
• Prescribing and medication reviews
• Reviewing pathology/investigation results
• Making referrals to secondary care and community services
• Taking part in same-day and total triage
• Providing continuity of care for complex patients
• Contributing to QOF, enhanced services and clinical targets
• Keeping accurate clinical records
• Participating in clinical meetings and quality improvement
• Supporting safeguarding and patient safety processes
• Collaborating with pharmacists, physiotherapists, MH practitioners and PCN colleagues
